The Danish Cancer Society
Breast cancer is the most common form of the disease to afflict women in the Western world. In Denmark, 4,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The disease is serious, but early detection increases the chance of successful treatment.
The 2008 charity stamp is being issued in aid of the Danish Cancer Society, which has worked for a life without cancer since 1928.
