Youth from all 10 ASEAN member countries participate in first ever Youth ASEAN Stamp Exhibition
Singapore hosted the inaugural Youth ASEAN Stamp Exhibition, a project of the ASEAN Committee of Culture and Information with the Singapore Philatelic Museum, at the National Library from 31 August to 2 September 2007. The exhibition saw the participation of youths from all ten ASEAN member countries. The Exhibition is part of the National Heritage Board Celebrate ASEAN! events which coincides with ASEAN's 40th Anniversary this year. Dr Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Information, Communications and the Arts, presented awards to the winning entries for the YAS Exhibition at a Prize Presentation Ceremony held on Saturday, 1 September 2007, at the National Library.
