On 3rd August 2010, Jersey Post will issue the fourth set of stamps in the series entitled 'Vintage Cars'. The first motor car arrived in Jersey at the end of the nineteenth century and shortly after, in 1908, the 'First Annual Parade' of the Jersey Motor Association took pace. Vintage car cavalcades are, to this day, a familiar sight in Jersey and, often, the fine old motors are complemented by their drivers in striped blazers, boaters and bonnets and they never fail to turn heads as they motor around the Island.
